Domaine Tortochot

Tucked in the heart of Gevrey village, Domaine Tortochot was established back in 1865 and four generations of the name-sake family have subsequently tended the vines.

Chantal Michel-Tortochot now directs this organically farmed 11 hectare ECO certified domaine. Chantal is also an active member of the association "Femmes et Vins de Bourgogne" (Women and Wine in Burgundy).

As for the vines, Torotochot produces traditional Gevrey-Chambertin, with lots of fruit, strong tannins and good acidity, and therefore built to age well.
