Domaine Remoriquet

Gilles Remoriquet and his cousin Patricia Guenot have owned almost 10 hectares of vines in Nuits-Saint-Georges and Vosne-Romanée, including several premier crus. With the untimely passing of our friend Gilles in 2025, Patricia, a fourth generation vigneron, has assumed full control and continues Gilles' practice of producing wines using traditional winemaking techniques. For example, she prefers to keep the grape skins in contact with the wine longer than some during fermentation in order to obtain a gentle extraction of aromas, colors and tannins, and an optimum expression of the terroir. Indeed, before harvest, she tastes grapes of each parcel to determine the maturity of the skins and to ensure supple, non-aggressive tannins. As her wines age well, Patricia often holds back a portion of her production to be able to offer wines with cellaring built-in!
