Christine Gruère-Dubreuil is the fifth generation owner and winemaker at this remarkable 140 year old estate. Located where the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune meet, Dubreuil-Fontaine farms the land near the picturesque ancient village of Pernand-Vergelesses, just below the Grand Cru vineyards on the hill of Corton. Christine, along with her daughter (sixth generation) Cleméntine, oversee gentle, natural hand picking, sorting and pressing of both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. The domaine produces Grand Cru reds and whites from Corton, and a host of lovely Premier Cru and Village wines from nearby Côte de Beaune vineyards in Volnay, Pommard, Beaune, Aloxe-Corton, Savigny-Les-Beune and Pernand-Vergelesses.
