Refund Policy

We strive to provide our customers with the highest quality service. Your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are dissatisfied with your order, for insurance reasons, please contact us within 36 hours of the time your order is delivered.

All wines sold are maintained at optimum conditions. The wine you buy from our participating wineries is out of our control once it has been handed over to the shipper in France and neither the winery nor BurgDirect is responsible for improper storage after it has been transferred to the shipper. Once your wine order has been picked up by the shipper or other common carrier for delivery, the wine becomes your responsibility. When you buy wine through BurgDirect, you are also buying shipping insurance through the shipper. If your wine is damaged during shipment, you have the right to make a claim against the shipper and its insurance. BurgDirect not responsible for, and will not replace, wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. We cannot accept returns for the following: wines that do not coincide with your personal tastes, wines that have been adversely affected by customer storage, and wines that have been damaged as a result of any other adverse condition occurring while the wines are in your care.

If your wine is shipped back to the winery from which you purchased it, we will refund your credit card for the offered price of the wine less the costs of shipping and handling. If you did not receive the wines you were offered and paid for, you will receive a full refund, including all shipping, insurance, and handling charges.
