Domaine G. Roblot-Marchand & Fils

Frédéric and Andrée are the fourth generation family owners of this small (~7 hectares) estate located in Chambolle-Musigny, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits. They farm enviable terroirs of Vosne Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny and Gevrey-Chambertin, and produce wonderful Grand and Premier Cru wines. Domaine G. Roblot-Marchand & Fils cultivates their vineyards with an eye towards non-intervention, respecting nature by using very limited fertilizers and hand ploughing regularly to oxygenate the soils. In the cellar, wines are matured in oak barrels from three different coopers who meet the domaine's exacting requirements. Their wines aim to reflect the individual terroirs of each vineyard, and often require a bit of aging to reveal their complexities. They produce red wines exclusively.
